For real! When I first encountered them in Florida people laughed at me because I thought they were going to bite my toes. But at least in Florida they are always outside.

Here in Trinidad if I get out of bed at night and walk into the kitchen there is usually always a lizard or two scurrying about. They seem to love coming out at night. Luckily we keep our bedroom door closed at night. I would never be able to sleep!
