I had to look up photos of the painted and Blandings turtles. They both look like smaller turtles. Those seem to be the most vulnerable as they are more difficult to see. Glad that you were able to save them!

Hopefully turtles will still be able to maintain their habitat going forward, especially in places with rapidly growing populations like Florida.
