I know exactly what you mean. I love Trinidad now but I still love America, too. Being an expat is kinda strange I guess. There are definite advantages of both countries. I find myself missing silly stuff like the dollar store and American grocery stores but I’ve also learned to compromise a lot here. In America I miss a lot of stuff from here, too. I guess the best compromise is to have a residence in both places but then that takes a little $$. 🙂
