I love this answer. You are so correct. There are stories that my grandparents used to tell that I wish I had written down. They both lived amazing lives. If we don't get those stories down they are lost forever and that's sad.

I do hope you continue to write your story. I have a feeling once you get your father and siblings talking they might love the process. Most people love to tell their stories but just might need a little push to get going, perhaps. Wish you all the best there!
