Nice that they rebuilt the road...

… the base at the wrong time, you had as much as an hour’s wait before you were allowed to drive up. Since our last visit, a new separate road was built for descending traffic.

Nice that they rebuilt the road... would have been super annoying. This looks like a great place to visit. Smokehouse always makes me think of BBQ. 😋 Thanks for sharing!
