Oh no, I love seeing free-range chickens but feral chickens aren't good! They can be quite dangerous. I got pecked by a hen good when I was little and had to get stitches... I didn't hold it against the chickens though. My parents wanted them to roam free but after that they set up a chicken coop. Poor things, lol.
