Oh wow, I LOVE this story and thank you for sharing it. It's sad that some people get so stuck in a certain way of thinking that they cannot see around it (like your friend's mom). Nice that your friend's husband gave you the beads though. You should really write this up as a story and share a photo of the beads. Just a suggestion. It's a powerful story to share.
