So well written! I was a weird kid as well... or at least I felt like I was. Maybe a lot of us writers were.

Life is all about journeys, going through good times and not so good times, and then coming out on the other side. You captured the essence of that perfectly! Being in a band would be fun but I can see how it might be difficult on a marriage.
