Sorry, but isn't this just one more glaring case of bending a scripture so that it fits what you yourself want it to say. After all, there is no mention, specifically, of this 'local church' in the scripture you've included here. While I'm sure you are well intentioned, I do believe that passing off such interpretations as fact is a true detriment to spirituality as a whole. Why not rather present it as a hypothesis, because that's what it truly is.
