Sounds delightful and it's so wonderful that you met such a good friend there. Photography is my huge hobby though so I would never not take photos. I enjoy it too much and my memory is short so it's nice to have them later to look at as well. Not everyone needs to be a photo lover though. 🙂

I definitely take less photos when I'm in a place I've been to several times before.
