… couldn’t get the breading to stick to the entire onion because the breadcrumb mixture got soggy and clumpy once the egg/buttermilk was introduced to the breadcrumbs. That was kind of disappointing, but they tasted really good, so I’ll take that.

Sounds yum... but I think you are supposed to dip them into the egg mixture first?? I think... that's the way I've done it anyway. 🤔
