Thanks for this beautiful story. I grew up in Idaho so it was pretty relatable. Doesn't look like Banff is too far over the US border. I too never fully appreciated where I grew up until MANY years later. When I go back now I realize how beautiful it is and how nice and genuine people are... it's a pretty big culture shock sometimes though. Such a different way of life.
