This does sound like a disappointing experience. I had some good fish and chips at Wetherspoons in Camden Town. I think that's kind of a chain restaurant, not sure, but the service was good as well. I did have a couple of meals from supposedly highly rated restaurants in London that were not nearly as good as the rating. I sometimes wonder how accurate some of those reviews are. 🤔 But yeah, always good to look on the bright side. Nice that you got to take your daughter out. 🙂
