We have this in Trinidad. You have to flip a switch to have hot water and then you can adjust the temperature on the shower head. Took me so long to get used to!

Thanks for giving us more of your story. I like how you broke it up into smaller chunks and then linked them together. I've recommended that method to a lot of people.
