We used to always have glass jars around when I was growing up. Love the idea of putting the lights in them and using them as lanterns and adding other decorative touches.

I made homemade pickles once or twice... ha ha, it really made me appreciate jar pickles. Perhaps it's something a person has to experiment with quite a bit to get the flavor to their liking although I haven't tried it in quite a while now.
