…en in action before. Local fishermen have trained cormorants to dive into the water and catch fish. Since they have a ring around their neck, they can’t swallow the fish and when they get back to the raft, the fisherman deftly squeezes the fish back up the bird’s throat, and into a bucket. The birds are then fed with smaller scraps of fish.
