Your adoptive mom sounds like a truly great person and a blessing. My mom was that kind of person as well but I lost her when I was only 17 and have mostly been on my own ever since til meeting my husband in my 40s. It's not easy losing significant people, especially when other people still have those people in their lives. Hope that you stay strong through it all!! Thanks for sharing your story.
